Aliquot #49: New Year's Resolutions: Living healthier and longer, Part I

Drs. Eric Verdin, Valter Longo, and Elisa Epel

The arrival of a new year is a great opportunity to make health-focused resolutions – promises to ourselves that we're going to live better, healthier, and (hopefully) longer. We all age at different rates, however, so our chronological age – the number of years we've lived – often differs from our biological age. These differences are often reflected in certain biomarkers and disease states that can predict biological age. Eating right, exercising more, and managing our stress can help us achieve our resolutions.
