Aliquot #10: Unconventional effects of sulforaphane on human health: Part I

Dr. Jed Fahey

Sulforaphane, an isothiocyanate compound derived from broccoli sprouts and certain cruciferous vegetables, exerts a wide range of beneficial effects in humans. Some of these effects are mediated by increased glutathione, one of the body's most potent antioxidants, to promote brain health. This Aliquot segment includes clips featuring nutritional biochemist Dr. Jed Fahey, as well as clips featuring Dr. Rhonda Patrick in an interview with tech founder and podcast host Kevin Rose.
