      @rhonda http://www.idant.com/BloodBank/WhyIdant.aspx

      No knowledge or experience with them, just found it on google, but it looks like one of the few places that does offer long term storage of blood (or semen…)

        Thanks. Guess I will look into it. Must be others doing this.

          @carlsonbjj The Levine paper on resting heart rate being associated with longevity in mammals is interesting because it shows there is an inverse relationship between heart rate and life expectancy across different mammal species. My resting heart rate ranges from 57-59.

            Nice! What do you use to track that? Finger measurement or a certain device?

              Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has one built in, also measures blood oxygen levels, pretty sweet.

                There are apps that use the camera on an iPhone to measure your heart rate too (not oxygen levels though). I use the Withings Health Mate app, it’s free, as is an account on their site where it will put the data in a nice graph for you too. http://www.withings.com/us/health-mate.html

            I know this study just looked at teens, but screen time is probably affecting everybody’s sleep. It reminded me of this article - http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/08/120827094211.htm Unfortunately I’m still on my phone or iPad up until right before I go to bed….

              @jwilson13 This is cool! Have you seen this article? 3D printing has been successfully used to replace jaw, skull, spinal fusion, vertabra, heel, & hip in people. http://www.gizmag.com/seven-life-changing-surgeries-3d-printing/35186/
